Lake of the Woods Brewing has announced the launch of a new lager for the Oktoberfest season, Canadian Beer News reported on September 26.

Oktoberfest Märzen Lager is deep gold/light orange in colour. Lightly hopped in order to highlight the warm and toasty malt profile. Despite the balance being toward the malt, the taste is not sweet and finishes dry and very smooth.

Oktoberfest Märzen Lager was scheduled to be released on Friday September 27th at Lake of the Woods, where it will be available on draught in the brewpub and in growlers for take-home sales.
