California-based 2X4 Brewing & Imports has introduced its Canada’s Select Brews portfolio into 10 new markets, Shanken News Daily reported on November 18.

Starting in January, 2X4’s Canadian beers and ciders will be available in Alabama via United-Johnson Bros.; Georgia via Quality Wines & Spirits; Illinois via Stoller Wholesale; North Carolina via Fine Wine Trading Co.; Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia via Hop & Wine Beverage; Maine via Pine State Trading Co.; Tennessee via Lipman Brothers and Vermont via Capital Candy Co./Granite City Beverage.

The brewer’s Canada’s Select Brews stable currently includes offerings from British Columbia’s Howe Sound Brewing and Vancouver’s Parallel 49 Brewing Co., with contract negotiations now in the works for seven additional breweries.

Along with the new markets, 2X4 recently brought its lineup to California via Young’s Market Co., and says it’s set to finalize partnerships in Arizona, Florida and New York by the end of January.
