Baltica, the first brewery from Russia with a market share of 33 %, is willing to strengthen more its position on the Russian beer market and to expand its actual market share. In order to reach such a performance the Russian brewer is increasing the capacities of its actual breweries and building other new ones.

The proof of this fact is the construction of other new brewery (the third in 2002) by Baltica in Habarovsk (Eastern Siberia). It is planned that the brewery from Habarovsk will begin to operate in the next summer and its capacity will be of 1000000 hl. Besides the fact that this brewery will considerably improve the standing of Baltica in Russia it will also decrease the Baltica’s distribution costs.

It is estimated that the value of this investment is of USD 50000000.
