After SAB has bought the American Miller and formed by this merger the second largest brewer in the world, Belgian Interbrew has fallen on the third place in the world top of brewers.

This event is considered to be the main cause of an intention appertaining to an important group of family shareholders that wish to dilute their shareholdings in Interbrew . By this measure, they want to give the Belgian giant the possibility to accomplish new acquisitions,which would improve the brewer’s competition force.
