| E-Malt.com News article: USA, GA: Knucklehead Craft Brewing may launch in Webster as early as this fall
Two businessmen are finalizing plans to open a new craft brewery in Webster, Democrat & Chronicle reported on May 4.
It'll be called Knucklehead Craft Brewing, and owners George Cline and Len Dummer have some big plans for the new place.
When Knucklehead opens for business, the 5 BBL (155-gallon) brewing system and the four 155-gallon fermenters in its back rooms will keep two of the bar taps flowing with a rotating variety of one-and-done Knucklehead seasonal brews. Six other taps will feature a variety of flagship beers, including a Scotch ale, a caramel stout, a blonde ale, an amber ale, a Belgian IPA and a pale ale.
Both George Cline and Len Dummer have regular full-time jobs in real estate and home inspection. "Those are our passions," Len said, but "this is a real burning desire passion."
"It's not about making money. It's about joining the community," Len said.
When will the brewery open? They're not exactly sure yet. There's still lots to do before they can open their doors. But if everything goes smoothly, they're hoping that will be as early as this fall.
