E-Malt.com News article: USA, WA: New brewery to launch in Yakima in October

Construction is underway on a new brewery in Downtown Yakima. It's called Hop Nation Brewing Company, KIMATV.com reported on June 19.

The brewery will be located at a 100-year-old building that used to be a warehouse. Brewing will be done downstairs. A tasting room will be upstairs. There will be seven kinds of beer sold when it opens.

"This is my chance, this is a dream and it’s been a really big community effort," owner Ben Grossman said. "A lot of people have helped me out with expertise and knowledge."

The brewery plans to open in early October. The owner also plans to sell wine and cider a few months after the brewery opens.
