Northern Life newspaper reported on June 20 that Sudbury’s Stack Brewing will be marking its 1st anniversary later this month with a party and, more importantly, a large expansion in brewing capacity.

Stack has taken delivery of more than C$250,000 worth new brewing equipment in recent weeks, and once it’s installed and operational, the brewery will be able to increase output by up to 500% if needed.

Stack is currently the only brewery in the Northern Ontario city, and the Sudbury-centric branding of its beers has helped attract a steady and growing demand, making this expansion a necessity.
