Norway’s beer sales were up 10% in January-April 2004, compared to the same period last year, Norwegian Brewers and Soft Drinks Producers (BROM) has recently revealed. Of the total 72.39 million litres sold, 22.5 million litres were of canned beer, compared to 33.2 million of bottled beer sold in the same period. In April 2004, the sales of beer increased by 1.5% year-on-year to 21 million litres.
