Bridge Brewing a company that opened in mid-2012 as the 1st nanobrewery in Vancouver, and subsequently grew to microbrewery status after just over a year of business has announced that it is increasing capacity once again, and making a move to accommodate the expansion, Canadian Beer News reported on January 9.
On January 14th, the brewery was planning to leave its current 930 square foot space on Dollarton Highway, and reopen the following day in a more spacious 4,500 square foot location at 1448 Charlotte Road in North Vancouver.
The move will allow Bridge to substantially increase its brewing capacity, moving up to 5,000 barrels annually from the current 1,500 barrels.
