Big news from West Loop, Chicago-based Haymarket Brewing Company, which owns and operates Haymarket Pub and Brewery, Chicago Now reported on March 9.

According to a post published on March 9 on Haymarket's blog, the company has purchased property in Bridgman, Mich. for a full-scale production brewery, slated to open in the spring of 2016. Construction is set to begin immediately on the 17-acre site. In addition to the brewery, according to the blog post, the facility will also have a "taproom and kitchen serving wood-fired pizzas and house-made sausages," an outdoor beer garden and space to host outdoor events.
