In spite of the indifferent reaction of UK analysts about 3.5% increasing in last year pre-tax profits of Scottish & Newcastle beer Company, it was noticed that S & N is looking for the opportunities into the huge German beer market, the largest beer market in Europe.

A report from the Herald said that S&N is looking for acquisition opportunities in the German beer market, the largest beer market in Europe, where 101 million hecto-litres of beer are drunk every year.
