E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Doan’s Craft Brewing set up in Vancouver

Beer Me BC reports that a new brewery has set up a shop in East Vancouver in a location that will be quite familiar to local craft beer drinkers.

Doan’s Craft Brewing – founded by brothers Mike & Evan Doan and partner Kevin Sharpe – opened on May 22 at 1830 Powell Street, Vancouver, a spot that was the original home of Powell Street Craft Brewery before it moved last autumn.

Doan’s has launched with three brands – Kölsch, Altbier and Rye IPA – available to sample on-site or take home in growlers. Additional styles are planned to follow in the future as time and demand allows.
