| E-Malt.com News article: USA, GA & SC: Service Brewing Co. to expand in Savannah, South Carolina
Service Brewing Co. plans to begin distributing its craft beers in the South Carolina on July 1, Charlotte Business Journal reported on June 26.
That Savannah, Ga.-based brewery is veteran-owned.
It plans to introduce its beers through special events in Raleigh and Charlotte, as well as Charleston and Beaufort County, S.C. The brewery said in a news release that it plans to release its beers across both states.
Service Brewing says growing demand for craft beer played a role in its expansion plans, which coincide with its one-year anniversary in July. To date, the brewery’s beer has been distributed throughout Georgia.
“We have generated a lot of demand for our beer in the region as well as support for our mission," says Kevin Ryan, chief executive and former U.S. Army Company Commander. "With the South Carolina border only 15 minutes from Savannah, it was an easy choice to move north into the market."
