E-Malt.com News article: Malawi: Carlsberg Malawi raises prices

Following the depreciation of kwacha in the country, Carlsberg Malawi Limited has raised the price of beverages, Malawi24 reported on October 1.

The increase is in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic products.

According to Carlsberg Malawi Marketing officials, the rise is between 12 percent to 18 percent.

The two litres Sobo Squash has jumped from Mk1, 200 to Mk1,500 while the 300ml Carlsberg Green has been raised from Mk 400 to Mk450.

Drinks like Fanta, Sprite and Coca-Cola are going at Mk200 from Mk 140.
