E-Malt.com News article: Cyprus: Beer sales up 3.05% in January-September this year

Beer sales in Cyprus recorded a 3.05% increase on an annual basis between January and September this year, reaching 28.28 million litres, compared to 27.44 million litres during the same period in 2014. At the same time beer exports were up by 23.3%, FG News reported on October 19.

Data released by the Cyprus Statistical Service on beer deliveries for local consumption shows that deliveries were up in the warmest months of the year, with July in the lead with 4.7 million litres and August following with 4.42 million.

Consumption equals on average 39 litres per person if one takes into consideration the 2011 census of 705,111 of people in the age group of 15 to 64.
