A brewery aiming to open in Toronto in early 2016 has announced the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to assist in its purchase of a “state-of-the-art” kegging line, Canadian Beer News reported on November 4.

As announced in September, Henderson Brewing is being founded by Steve Himel and Mark Benzaquen, two brewing industry veterans with years of experience at both craft and macrobreweries.

While most aspects of the project are fully funded, the pair is looking to the public to contribute C$55,000 towards the kegging machine. In exchange, those who pledge funds will receive a variety of perks, including subscriptions to monthly beer releases and invitations to release events at the brewery.
