E-Malt.com News article: Kazakhstan: Barley exports reach almost 750 thousand tonnes in the first half of 2015/16 MY

Over the first half of the season, Kazakhstan exported nearly 750 thousand tonnes of barley, which was 100% more than during the same period last season and nearly 60% more than all barley exports in 2014/15 MY, Black Sea Grain reported on April 25.

During the reporting period, Iran imported 78% more barley from Kazakhstan than in all last season (714.8 thousand tonnes compared to 402 thousand tonnes in 2014/15 MY).

The USA bought 9.5 thousand tonnes of Kazakh barley in February 2016, it is reported.
