Russia: Moscow based brewery Ochakovo has sold about 2.08 million hl of beverages in the second quarter of 2004, 4.8% more than in the same period last year. In April – June 2004 Ochakovo sold 1.49 million hl of beer a 3.6% increase versus April – June 2003 (1.44 million hl). Ochakovo plans to register a 5% increase of its production by the end of 2004, V. Merkulov, the company’s director told the media.
