A brewery opening soon in Port Dalhousie – a community in St. Catharines, Ontario – has released a pair of beers in advance of its official launch, Canadian Beer News reported on August 23.

Lock Street Brewing made its first appearance at the recent St. Catharines Wing Fest, where brewery founders Darryl Austin and Wolfgang Guembel were on hand to pour debut brands Winter Wheat and Industrial Pale Ale.

Lock Street also has its beer on tap at Acqua in Port Dalhousie, and plans to open its retail store and tasting room in the historic Lion Tavern building on October 1st.
