The first brewery in the Southern Ontario city of Markham is set to open its doors very soon, Canadian Beer News reported on October 4.

Rouge River Brewing has been co-founded by Jordan Mills, a brewer most recently employed at Mill Street Brewery in Toronto.

Located at 50 Bullock Drive in Markham, the brewery promises to offer “hop forward American style beers as well as sour/funky beers inspired by Belgian and modern American beers” when it opens in coming weeks.
