In August of 2015 Chuckanut Brewery and Kitchen of Bellingham announced plans to open a second brewery and taproom in Skagit County, near the Skagit Regional Airport. That new location is now open at 11937 Higgins Airport Way, Burlington, WA, seattle.pi reported on October 19.

Chuckanut is bringing beer in from the Bellingham brewery while the finishing touches are put on the new brewery. The new brewery is twice the size of the Bellingham brewery: 20-barrel brewhouse compared to 10-barrel brewhouse, the company said
