Carlsberg Malaysia will produce and distribute the Thai Chang beer brand in Malaysia. The licensing agreement on beer brands and alcohol-free varieties is a long term one and is valid till 2012.

Carlsberg Malaysia hopes to gain good group results in the long term out of this deal. However, they don’t expect to obtain a financial effect on results for the current year 2002. The agreement might be imposed the conditions of the Ministry of International Trade and Industry or other government authorities.
