| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: A-Frame Brewing now open in Squamish, British Columbia
After many years of being a single brewery town, Squamish, British Columbia now has a second hometown beer option with the opening of A-Frame Brewing this past weekend, Canadian Beer News reported on December 12.
Founded by husband and wife Jeff Oldenborger and Caylin Glazier, A-Frame has launched with four beers crafted by brewmaster Andrew Sawyer, all of them having names inspired by the many small lakes in the Squamish region – Okanagan Lake Cream Ale (5.3% abv, 15 IBU), Elfin Lakes Belgian Ale (5.2% abv, 36 IBU), Sproat Lake Dry Hopped Pale Ale (5.2% abv, 38 IBU), and Magic Lake Porter (4.1% abv [but “will be 5-5.2% in future batches], 30 IBU).
Located at 38927 Queens Way in Squamish, A-Frame features a 30 seat tasting room and store where its beers are available by the glass and in a flight, as well as in 32 and 64 oz growlers to take home.
A-Frame Brewing is open from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM on Saturday, and 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM on Sunday.
