E-Malt.com News article: USA, WI: Steelhead Aleworks planning to become full-fledged brewpub
Brewery news

Drink up, beer lovers. A new brewery is fermenting, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported on January 31.

Dave Baron and Jason Radosevich brew Steelhead Aleworks at House of Brews in Madison. They have plans to become "a full-fledged brewpub," and are scouting possible locations in Waukesha County.

The timeline includes six months for a storefront for the beer; eight months to have a taproom open.

"It started out two guys brewing beer in a garage," said Baron, about his operation with Radosevich, a Hartland resident. Baron, 51, lives in New Berlin and now looks at brewing as his "retirement package."

Steelhead Aleworks is on tap at Cleveland Pub, 14000 W. Cleveland Ave, New Berlin, and at Natty Oaks, 11505 W. National Ave., West Allis, with more establishments on the way.

Steelhead currently offers an IPA, a Pale Ale, an Amber Ale and a Brown Ale, but "our Oktoberfest is off the charts," Baron said.
