| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NS: The Nook & Cranny Pub spinning off brewery operations to Salty Dog Brewing
The Maritime Beer Report has revealed that The Nook & Cranny Pub in downtown Truro is shifting its two-year-old brewing operation out of the pub and into the building next door, where it will now be known as Salty Dog Brewing.
Owner Derek Forsyth tells MBR that production will be expanding in the new location, and the beer line-up – including Pale Ale, Blueberry Wheat, IPA, Vanilla Porter, White IPA, Coffee Stout, Black IPA, Session Ale and a Cider – will continue to be available on tap at the Nook & Cranny, plus other select pubs in the area.
Salty Dog beers are expected to be pouring at the Nook & Cranny and Belly Up BBQ & Grill by May 15th, and at other establishments in late May or early June. Select brands will also be available in cans and growlers at the Salty Dog retail store (615 Prince St., Truro) starting June 1st.
