E-Malt.com News article: Canada, BC: Beard’s Brewing to open soon as Fort St. John’s first brewery

EnergeticCity.ca reports that first brewery in the northeastern British Columbia city of Fort St. John is getting set open soon.

Beard’s Brewing is being founded by Stephen Beard, who has been working on the project since January, and is awaiting final approvals and licencing to start brewing.

Located in an industrial unit at 10408 Alaska Road North, the brewery will offer kegs and growler fills of brands including Logger Lager, Honey Brown, IPA, and Chocolate Stout once it opens.

Beard is hoping brew his first batches in early September, with a grand opening to follow in October.
