E-Malt.com News article: USA, NM: Ex Novo Brewing to open new facility in Corrales

New Mexico’s beer scene is about to get busier. Ex Novo, a brewing company based in Oregon, is opening a 10,000 square foot facility in Corrales, KOB reported on May 24.

The founder and owner of Ex Novo, Joel Gregory, says both brewing and packaging operations will take place at the facility. There will also be a tap room for customers to enjoy. Eventually, the brewing company plans to add a full pub/restaurant, with a beer garden.

Gregory says crews will break ground on the facility in July. It will be located on Corrales Road, at the former site of Rancho de Corrales, which was destroyed in a fire in 2012. Gregory plans on opening Ex Novo's Corrales brewery in 2018.

Gregory grew up in Corrales. He says that is one of the main reasons he chose to bring his business to New Mexico. He's also excited about joining New Mexico's growing beer community.
