A new Brazilian brewpub has debuted in Chula Vista. Called Novo Brazil Brewing, it's at 2015 Birch Road, Suite 1017, Otay Ranch Town Center, Hoodline reported on December 3.

Novo Brazil Brewing offers its own beers on site, including Chula Pils dry-hopped lager, Morena amber ale and Ipanema Dipa pale ale. Its menu features picanha and fries, chicken wings, cheeseburgers and. This is the brewer's second locale; the original is in neighboring Eastlake.

With a 4.5-star rating out of 18 reviews on Yelp so far, Novo Brazil Brewing seems to be a welcome addition to the neighborhood.

Priscila D., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on Nov. 25, wrote, "Awesome place with great staff and cool environment. I loved their kombucha. Highly recommended and a must-go!"

And Peter H. wrote, "I will cut them some slack. First night open I felt they did a great job. As the night went on the service got better. I'm really happy with the food. I will definitely come back again."
