E-Malt.com News article: USA, AZ: Female-owned Greenwood Brewing opens in downtown Phoenix

Greenwood Brewing, a female-owned and -operated brewery, has opened on the southwest corner of Roosevelt and Fifth Street in downtown Phoenix, Mouth by Southwest reported on August 5.

Founder Megan Greenwood has been brewing Greenwood beers under contract at another Valley brewery since 2017.

After raising $68,000 in a Kickstarter campaign in early 2019, she began construction of a 10-barrel brewhouse and taproom with two beer gardens.

The brewery, which opens at 11 a.m. daily, currently distributes four beers: Herstory Brew, Forward IPA, Essence Ale, and Harvest Diem.
