| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NB: Pump House Brewery to expand to new location in Shediac
Pump House Brewery has announced that it will soon be expanding to a new location in Shediac, the Canadian Beer News reported on May 6.
As reported by Huddle Today, Pump House owners Brad Devarennes, Kolin Barley, and Brian Harriman have taken over the former Bayou Pub and Eatery at 607 Main St., and the 3000-square-foot space is currently being prepared to reopen as a Pump House brewery and pub.
“We anticipate it will open in June and it will be a year-round brewery in Shediac,” said Harriman in an interview. “It’s a growing community and there aren’t any craft breweries in Shediac at the moment – we saw a need out there. The locals are excited to see Pump House become a part of the community.”
Once it opens, the Shediac brewpub will be the third location for Pump House, joining the original brewpub in downtown Moncton, and the production brewery and Fill Station taproom on the city’s outskirts.
