Moonrise Brewing Company announced it would be closing immediately. Opening in 2017, owners Benjamin and Ashley Davenport offered a wealth of different ales with an ever-growing selection monthly, AskFlagler reported on August 23.

In a post on Facebook, the brewery announced:

“It’s with a heavy heart that we announce the closing of Moonrise Brewing Company.
This decision was a very difficult one but unfortunately is unavoidable. This post-pandemic industry has been extremely difficult with many variables stacked against us and it’s just not possible to catch up.

“We feel honored to have served this community for the past 5 years and we will cherish every moment of it. We have made incredible friends, hosted countless community events and had great staff members over the years.

“We are beyond grateful for the memories and love from you all. Your support got us this far and we couldn’t thank you enough for it all.”

In a world of chain restaurants and blended bars —Moonrise offered a unique experience to Palm Coast and European Village.
