Yet another brewery is opening in Charlotte’s South End: Monday Night Garden Co. is set to open its doors at 2217 S. Tryon St. this Saturday, June 24, AOL reported.
Housed in a converted mechanic’s shop and covering 8,000 square feet, it’s draft list will feature craft beers with funky names like Space Lettuce, Blind Pirate, Taco Tuesday, Slap Fight and Dr. Robot Berry Lemon sour, according to a press release. Artisanal, wood-fired pizza cooked in Italian-imported Neapolitan pizza ovens will be featured too.
Monday Night Garden is an offshoot of Monday Night Brewing, which has breweries in Atlanta, Birmingham, Alabama and Nashville, Tennessee.
Regular hours for Monday Night Garden in Charlotte will be noon-midnight Mondays; noon to 11 p.m. Tuesdays-Thursdays; noon to 2 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays; and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays. Saturday’s grand-opening celebration, set to start at noon, will include live music, local vendors, food trucks, and artists and performers.
The brewery is operated under a female-led management team, including general manager Amanda Buckley and assistant GM Lauren Cooper, the press release states.
“This taproom has been such a fun project for our team, and we’re so excited to finally open the doors to our friends and neighbors in Charlotte,” Rachel Kiley, chief operating officer at Monday Night Brewing, said in a statement.
