Smokehouse Brewing Company in Grandview Heights is closing after 25 years, the restaurant announced on December 20.

"It is after much consideration and with deep regret that we inform you that we are permanently closing. Our last day will be January 2," Smokehouse said in a social media post.

The company first opened as Barley's Smokehouse & Brewpub in August 1998, according to its website.
