 | E-Malt.com News article: USA, ME: Rail Yard Brewing and Rusty Rail Tap Room welcomed in Milo
Friends of Milo, a local community group in Milo, welcomed the newly-opened Rail Yard Brewing and Rusty Rail Tap Room with a special certificate on January 8, WABI reported.
After much of the Milo community was devastated with the closing of the popular Bissell Brothers Three Rivers Brewery in 2024, Mainers John Riitano and Tracy Bonney-Corson took over the space and wanted to bring it to life with another community staple.
John and Tracy take a lot of pride in being able to reinvigorate what was once a bustling hotspot in town, with their own twist.
“It’s heartwarming; this is what we intended. It was our marketing plan: to be a community focused entity, not to recreate what already exists somewhere else, but to make this about Mil,” said co-owner Tracy Bonney Corson.
They are also grateful to have the wind at their backs.
“The overwhelming support from the community has been great. That has been the highlight and that’s basically what we want to become, a community hub for people to come hang out and just bring family, friends, and loved ones and just come here and have a good time,” said co-owner John Riitano.
The Rusty Rail Tap Room held its grand opening this past Saturday, January 3 and will now be open Thursdays through Saturdays.
