The Japanese brewer Kirin Brewery announced recently that it registered so far for 2005 a rise of 1% year-on-year in the sales of beer and all beer-like drinks.

The total beer and beer-like drinks shipments amounted to 131 million cases of 12.6 liters, the brewer specified.
