Every fifth Russian town-dweller drinks about 5 litres of beer per day. This is the result of a survey realized by the Russian independent statistic agency among the male half of the population. Rural population drinks more moderately – 1.6 litres per day. 2% of surveyed men tried to drink 8 and more litres of beer per day.
