E-Malt.com News article: Ukraine: Beer imports increased 23.5% in January-June 2006, beer balance remained strictly positive

In January - June 2006 Ukrainian beer exports advanced by 23.5% year-on-year. Accordingly, 291,564 hl were additionally shipped overseas, generating US$41.26 million, The Russian Brewers Union released August 09.

For the same time period imports of beer decreased by 46%, or by 94,538 hl (US$5.81million) down to 110,834 hl.
