Algerian drinks sector is currently expanding. The privatisation of state-owned firms is getting more intense, proven by the recent privatisation of El Harrach brewery by the Flash Group. The brewery would have to roll out now only non-alcohol drinks, AllAfrica released August 28.

Other large domestic investors preferred to launch their own activities, namely in the beer sector with Tango and Castel groups which launched their own production facilities.
