The brewing industry’s revenue for the year 2005 was approximately $20,790,000,000, according to Business Wire, February 19. The gross profit was 53.91% at $11,207,889,000. There were 375 establishments in this industry that year. Thus, average contribution (or revenue) per establishment annually was $55,452,000.

The total import export value for the year 2005 was $3,694,214,000. The top 5 trading countries were: Mexico, $1,482,227,000 (40.12%); Netherlands, $1,023,998,000 (27.72%); Canada, $340,154,000 (9.21%); Germany, $185,350,000 (5.02%); and Ireland, $163,600,000 (4.43%).
