“Vitanta-Intravest” SA, owned by Efes Breweries International B.V., based in the Republic of Moldova, is to invest this year USD 2 million, or 95% of its profit for 2002 year, in production development. The company will invest the money in acquisition of a new bottling line.

Efes Breweries International B.V. purchased 96.5% of Vitanta-Intravest for USD 12 million at the beginning of 2003. Vitanta-Intravest Brewery holds 70% of Moldavian beer market. Efes Breweries said that it intends to invest about USD 7-10 million in the reconstruction of production during the next three years.
