Chang Beverages, the Thai drinks group, has asked the government for help in its dispute with the Danish brewer Carlsberg AS, Asian Wall Street Journal reported. On June 23, Carlsberg announced that it had replaced Chang Beverages' board members in Carlsberg Asia with Carlsberg Breweries representatives. Carlsberg also said that the transfer of assets from Chang to the joint venture had not taken place, saying that the joint venture "had not developed according to expectations".
