The share of export of Japanese beer Asahi super dry in the total amount of export of the Open Society "Brewing company" Baltica" is predicted at the level of 10%, the media recently reported. The representative of the company informed it about during the telephone conference.

It is planned, that up to the end of the current year deliveries to the CIS countries, first of all to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kirgizstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, hardly later to Kazakhstan and Ukraine will be adjusted.

We shall remind, that "Baltika" informed on signing of the agreement with Asahi Breweries Ltd. (Japan) on the beginning of manufacture by "Baltic" of beer Asahi super dry under the license for the European part of Russia to the west of 60 degrees of east longitude and the CIS countries.

The agreement operates up to 2012. During the telephone conference representatives of the company expressed hope for prolongation of the agreement in the further.

"Baltika" since 1996 is the leader of the Russian brewing market, owns 10 breweries and 3 malt enterprises in 9 regions of Russia. The basic shareholder is Baltic Beverages Holding AB (BBH) which owns 86.32 % in the authorized capital of "Baltika" and 91.48 % of voting shares. In 2006 "Baltic" united with companies "Vena", "Pikra" and "Yarpivo".

The net profit of "Baltica" under IFAS in January-September, 2007 grew up 31.7 % to 334.8mln euro from 254.1mln euro in the similar period of the last year. The proceeds increased up 31.7 % to 1.763mlrd euro from 1.338mlrd euro, operational profit (EBIT) - up 29% to 450.2mln euro from 348.9mln euro. EBIT margin decreased down 0.6 percentage items to 25.5 % from 26.1 %.

The total profit grew up 28 % to 927.2mln euro from 724.4mln euro.
