At the meeting of United Breweries board of directors on July 25, the top managers consented to voluntary delisting of securities of the company from the stock exchanges at Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Cochin, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and Madras subject to approval of the members at their ensuing annual general meeting, myiris.com informed on July 28.

As it was announced, United Breweries shall continue to list its securities on Bombay Stock Exchange and Bangalore Stock Exchange.

The company’s shares settled at Rs 156.35, declining Rs 8.05, or 4.9%. At the Bombay Stock Exchange, the total volume of shares traded constituted 9,016.
