E-Malt.com News article: Malawi: Carlsberg offers beers to choose from

Carlsberg Malawi launched a beer selection campaign that will give chance to its customers to select favourite beer from classic, gold and elephant to be used in the next 40 years, the Daily Times published on September, 16.

Customers are invited to make preference on the three beers in the company’s bars and bottle stores across the country.

According to the competition the beer with more votes will remain on the market while the two will be phased out.

Regional Sales Manager for Central, Yotamu Saka said in an interview on September, 14, that the campaign would enable the company to interact with its customers in various places while enlightening them on the procedure of beer selection.

"We hope to learn from our customers what their preferences are. At the same time, we will be able to interact with them in the process.

This is a wonderful moment," said Saka adding the campaign has not spared the other two regions, north and south.

Winning beer will be unveiled in December this year during the company's 40th anniversary celebrations.
