Brewery news

Henan Kingstar Brewery aims to be listed on the main board of either the Shanghai or Shenzhen stock exchange within the next three to five years, China Business News reported on July, 7, citing Zhang Tieshan, the president of Kingstar.

Zhang said that Kingstar hopes to achieve a ten percent year-on-year increase in 2010 revenue, with last year's revenues reaching 3.5 billion yuan.

Kingstar's main markets are Henan and Yunnan province, with its share of the Henan beer market reaching almost 35 percent, though gross margins are only about 1.5 percent due to fierce competition.
