Brewery news

Brick Brewing says its net revenues for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2011 were C$6.9 million, The Canadian Press reported on April, 21.

That's up from C$5.7 million in the fourth quarter last year - an increase of 21 per cent.

The Waterloo, Ont.-based company says revenue growth was primarily due to the volume growth of the Laker Family products.

The Red Baron Family brand decreased by 9.9 per cent in the quarter compared to an increase of 214 per cent in the same period last year.

Brick says gross revenues during the quarter were C$14.3 million, an increase of 18.2 per cent over the same period a year ago.
