Unofficial national brewer production estimates indicate a decrease of -3.4% in April 2011, to 14.7 mln barrels, Beer Institute reports.

The total output of US brewers in January – April is estimated at 56.62 mln barrels, down 1.4% year-on-year.

Domestic taxable removals (also known as Tax Paid Removals) measure the amount of beer shipped from domestic brewers to distributors within the U.S. market.
