E-Malt.com News article: EU: Euromalt re-elects its administration

Euromalt, the association representing the interests of the malting industry in the European Union, has re-elected Nicholas King its President for 2011-13, La Depeche reported on December, 9.

At the same meeting on November, 24, Philippe Lehrmann was re-elected Vice President, along with Tim Stonehouse. Dietrich Münch has maintained his function of President of Technical Committee.

More than 18 mln tonnes of malt are produced annually in the world, with Europe accounting for about half of the global output and the majority of the global malt trade.
