Ukraine: Scandinavian company, Baltic Beverages Holding (BBH), which owns Slavutich brewery (Zaporojie) and Lvov Brewery in Ukraine, plans to increase its stake on the Ukrainian beer market by launching a new brewing plant in Kiev in 2004. That was the announcement made by Igor Tovkach, a spokesman of Slavutich Brewery controlled by BBH. According to the figures of 2003, BBH owns 20.2% of Ukrainian beer market. In 2003 Ukrainian breweries controlled by Baltic Beverages Holding increased beer sales by 11% versus 2002 up to 309.5 million litres.
