Per capita beer consumption declined by 3% in Ukraine last year, Nrcu.gov.ua cited a survey by MMI Ukraine on January, 12.

The average price per litre of beer grew by 12% in 2011, mostly because of higher raw materials costs, but also because of a rise in energy and transport tariffs.

Experts forecast a 2% decline in Ukraine’s beer sales in 2012.
